Dr YSR Aarogyasri Scheme is a one-of-a-kind health programme run by the Andhra Pradesh State Government through the Dr YSR Aarogyasri Health Care Trust. The programme helps low-income families pay for unaffordable medical expenses. The State Government established the Dr YSR Aarogyasri Health Care Trust, which is chaired by the Honorable Chief Minister, to financially aid in the effective implementation of the scheme. The Trust is led by an IAS Officer who serves as the Chief Executive Officer. The programme is managed by the Trust, which consults with experts in insurance and healthcare. As an independent agency with a single mission, the Trust can deliver universal health care for disadvantaged families in the state more quickly. Governing, organizing, monitoring the scheme, and creating stakeholder capacity and negotiating with suppliers are all possible actions.
RemarksCoverage for the 1044 "Listed Therapies" for identified diseases in the 29 categories listed herein health camps/network hospitals. End-to-end cashless service for up to 30 days after discharge, including any difficulties that may arise. The programme covers all pre-existing cases treated with the listed therapies. Transportation and food Amount: On a floater basis, coverage for services to beneficiaries up to Rs.2.50 lakh per family per annum. All BPL families who have received a BPL ration card from the Civil Supplies Department are eligible. Anyone whose photo and name appear on a Health Card / BPL (White, Annapurna, and Anthyodaya Anna Yojana) ration card and is suffering from an identifiable disease is eligible to receive treatment under the scheme.
