• Dr. Tushar Vishvasrao Patil is an Oncologist specialising in Medical Oncology and Haemato-Oncology. He started off his medical studies at BJ Medical College in Pune, graduating with an MBBS in 2002. For his post-graduation he studied and trained at Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital in Mumbai, receiving the MD (Medicine) degree in 2006, securing 2nd Rank. He then went to Ahmedabad, trained at one of the largest cancer hospitals in India and obtained the DM (Medical Oncology) superspeciality degree with a Gold Medal from Gujarat University in 2009. Since the last four years, Dr. Patil has been practising at the Sahyadri Hospitals branches at Deccan Gymkhana and Hadapsar, in Pune. Prior to this, he was attached to the PD Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai for one year. Dr. Tushar Patil has made presentations at conferences on topics relating to gastrointestinal stromal tumours and scleroderma. He has also has been involved in creating community awareness on cancer by delivering a talk on cancer awareness in December 2013 and on breast cancer in October 2014.
