About Dr Ramandeep Singh Jaggi

Dr. Ramandeep Singh Jaggi is a pioneer in the field of neurosurgical oncology. He was instrumental in establishing and the first one to start practice of dedicated neurosurgical oncology at tertiary care level in north India. He is fully devoted to full time neuro oncology since it is a difficult and complicated part of neurosurgical practice. He has vast experience and routinely performs surgeries for complex brain, skull base and spinal tumors. His clinical interests include surgical management of high grade gliomas with the use of neuronavigation and multimodality intraoperative real-time monitoring techniques to achieve maximal safe resection of brain tumors. He has special inclination towards management of brain and spinal tumors through minimally invasive techniques. He specializes in the management of tumors located at important(eloquent) areas of the brain and has presented his work at various international forums. He gives priority to patient-centred practice and also oversees the adjuvant treatment(chemotherapy and radiotherapy) of brain tumor patients. He has unparalleled experience in dealing with difficult cases of primary and metastatic spine disease with minimally invasive spine surgeries and vertebral augmentation(kyphoplasty).
