An active teacher for postgraduates in Surgical Oncology for the last 27 years he has authored numerous publications and an invited speaker in over 100 National and International conferences. He received fellowships and awards of many National and International societies. He is invited as a visiting Professor/faculty both in India and abroad in numerous Laser operative workshops and training programs. He completed his MBBS from Grant Medical College in 1979 and MS(General Surgery) from JJ Group Hospitals in 1981. He did his MCh(Surgical Oncologist) at Tata Memorial Hospital in 1985
