• One of the key founders of the Indian Society of Neuro-Oncology (ISNO), an academic forum for all health professionals involved in brain tumours. Completed two consecutive terms as its first founding General Secretary since its inception in 2008 and has now completed his term as the President of the society. Currently serves as Chair of the Senior Advisory Council.
• Delivered the prestigious invited NIMHANS Dr. Subhadra Dayanand Rao oration on 29th June 2017 at NIMHANS, Bengaluru.
• Key leader for establishing the Sub Saharan African Society of Neuro Oncology and the South American Society of Neuro Oncology.
