“Meditation is a simple way of freeing your mind, forgetting about daily anxieties and focusing on mental relaxation. Going into a meditative state involves learning to become a passive observer of one’s thoughts. It does not mean suppressing them or attempting to force them to disappear.

As Heartfulness explains, meditation is the process of continuous focus on one object for a prolonged period of time. It is a gentle, subtle method which does not require any force or pressure on the mind. The result you gain out of the practice is increased concentration and focus.

Just like developing any other skill, meditation requires regularity of practice. Join us for the meditation session.”

Healing Circle at ZenOnco.io Healing Center: Circle of Sharing
Apr 7 @ 9:00 am – 10:00 am
Healing Circle at ZenOnco.io Healing Center: Circle of Sharing

A Healing Circle is a safe environment where one can share their emotions, ideas, feelings, and views, without fear of judgment, bias or mockery. This facilitates a stress-free environment, where the participants can be themselves and express all that they are concerned about or express their gratitude towards the Almighty One or their support group who enables them to stand strong in their battle against Cancer. This is very beneficial as participants get to hear the experiences of others and this may result in a positive takeaway message for the ones who are struggling to make peace with their health condition. This accepting circle facilitates healing, open sharing, and positivity, which boosts one’s mental frame of mind.

Ovarian Cancer workshop
Apr 11 @ 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Ovarian Cancer workshop

“Ovarian cancer is the fourth most common cancer in Indian women. The ovaries have 3 types of cells: epithelial cells, stromal cells, and germ cells. Each of the cell types can give rise to different kinds of tumours. Majority of ovarian tumours are in the epithelial cells. The tumours originate in the epithelial cells that cover the surface of the ovaries.

Your body terrain can influence the tumor microenvironment—the biochemical and physical interaction of malignant and nonmalignant cells—in which the cancer exists, making it either more or less likely to spread. You can sometimes improve your body terrain with integrative practices.

So our goal is to help you live as well as you can for as long as you can using the optimal combination of conventional, complementary and integrative therapies and approaches. Here you’ll find resources for ovarian cancer.”
