According to findings, quantum dots or nanoparticles penetrated cancer cell nanopores and killed 80% of cancer cells.

“Our research confirmed that quantum dots can suppress the growth of lung cancer cells and we believe quantum dots will have broad implications for researching new cancer treatments,” one of the researchers stated. ” we will do additional study in this new cancer treatment in the hopes of establishing a quantum dot factory to fully investigate the quantum dot’s possible application spectrum,” he added.
