Swagatika was diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal cancer when she was just 19 years old. She underwent chemotherapy and more than 35 rounds of radiotherapy, which caused various side effects like shrinking of food pipe, mouth ulcers, etc. Despite the difficulties, she never gave up and defeated cancer courageously. She started cooking and distributing food to the less privileged, as spreading hopes and smiles gave her solace and strength.
