Nisha Ji was diagnosed with breast cancer after she found a lump in her breast. She underwent surgery and 6 cycles of chemotherapy. She remained positive and hopeful throughout her treatment journey and received immense support from her entire family. Acceptance, faith, and confidence played a big role in her journey, and she feels lucky that she had the right people at the right time.
She urges people to go for screening tests as soon as they feel something strange and should always go for a second opinion in case of any doubt. She says, “Much awareness is needed regarding cancer in our society, to eradicate the myths and taboos that are still existing there.”
