Omega-3 fatty acids

Introduction

Omega-3 fatty acids, in brief, are extracted from fish oil. These acids play an indispensable role in securing people from cardiovascular risks like heart attacks. Moreover, they are a fundamental remedy in several cancer treatments. They are said to lower the risk of developing Breast Cancer substantially. Studies suggest that Omega-3 fatty acids obtain and take in the fatty deposits that form arteries, eventually enhancing the immunity and stability of the deposits.

Omega-3 fatty acids do not harm the clotting of blood. They may or may not mitigate inflammation by the systematic method of reducing inter-cell signals. Patients who have colitis and cystic fibrosis, and asthma, are said to significantly benefit from Omega-3 fatty acids due to their ability to reduce inflammatory effects. Most of the supplements of these acids also play a prominent role in securing your skin from the ultraviolet rays of the sun.

These polyunsaturated fatty acids are commonly found in Chia seeds, Walnuts, COD liver oil, Flaxseed oil, krill oil, linseed oil, fishes like tuna, sardines, etc.
