Use in Cancer Treatment

Pralatrexate is to treat the patients with refractory (does not respond to therapy) or recurrent peripheral T-cell lymphoma (come back).

The FDA’s Accelerated Approval Program has authorised this usage. Confirmatory trials must prove that pralatrexate has a therapeutic benefit in these individuals as a condition of approval.

Pralatrexate is also under research for use in the treatment of other cancers.
