Lurbinectedin is to treat the following conditions:

Small cell lung cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. It is also for individuals whose illness has worsened during or after platinum chemotherapy treatment.

The FDA’s Accelerated Approval Program has authorised this usage. A confirmatory study (or trials) must prove that lurbinectedin has a therapeutic benefit in these individuals as a condition of approval.
