Because the exact cause is unknown, there are no prevention guidelines for Astrocytoma. Electromagnetic waves released by high-voltage cables or even cell phones have been linked to an increased risk of brain cancers 1,2. This electromagnetic waves notion has yet to be scientifically validated to be linked with causing Astrocytoma.
