HPV Genotyping in pre-invasive and invasive cervical carcinoma patients of North East India. Duration: January 2011 to January 2013. Funding: DBT, Govt. of India. Objective: PCR based genotyping of cervical tissue using type specific primers to detect 18 different HPV strains. Promoter Hyper methylation Analysis of Multiple Tumor Suppressor Genes in pre-invasive and invasive cervical carcinoma patients of North East India. Duration: January 2011 to January 2013. Funding: DBT, Govt. of India. Objective: To determine methylation status of promoter region in 10 TSGs using methylation Р specific PCR/MS-PCR.
