Dr Srinath D. is a Musculoskeletal Oncologist presently practicing at HCG, Bangalore and Excel Care Hospital, Bangalore. His primary focus is biological & functional tumour reconstruction of Musculoskeletal Tumours (Bone Cancer Tumours) using microsurgical techniques and modern prosthesis. He also specialises in limb salvage surgery, total bone replacements & extendible prosthesis for children. He was appointed as the Medical Officer PHC Uchengidurga, Davengere, Karnataka(2001-2002) . He has also taught the students (DNB) AT the Department of Orthopaedics Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute, Thrissur, Kerala.He was holding Registrar office at Sparsh hospital, Bangalore, Aramana fathima medical institute, Kasargod, Kerala (2008- 2010) and Sagar hospitals (2010- 2012). He has also worked as a Consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Sagar hospitals. Dr D Srinath obtained his medical degree from J J M Medical College, Davengere, MS (ORTHO) FROM University of Seychells American Institute of Medicine and DNB from Jubliee Mission Medical College, Kerela in 2009 . Having trained in Musculoskeletal Oncology, Dr D Srinath has been involved in several major international and national research studies including Robotic Surgery Assisted Staged En-Bloc Sacrectomy for Sacral Chordoma, Ewings sarcoma (ES) of Scapula Treated by Limb Salvage Surgery. He has also presented many International and National Paper Presentations.
